| There has been 20 reported bike thefts in the last three weeks in Northeast. The majority of the bicycle thefts have occured when left unattended in front yards, porches and open/accessible garages or apartment parking stalls. -Always lock your bike when unattended. Lock the bike frame and wheels to a sturdy object -Be sure to record the serial number and keep it in a safe place -Take pictures of you bike and have them available incase you need to create flyers or describe it to authorities if it is stolen. -Buy and use a good, sturdy lock As always, please report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood.
